Another Record-Setting Defensive Effort Leads to a 66-43 Raider VictoryBy Mike Klingshirn Dayton, OH - Tonight, the Wright State Raiders used their second record-setting defensive performance in four games to propel them to a 66-43 victory over the Norfolk State Spartans. Just 8 days ago, against Toledo, the green and gold set the all-time school record for the fewest points allowed in a game (35) by a WSU team. In this contest, the Raiders broke the all-time school record for points allowed in one half, by holding Norfolk State to just 12 points in the first twenty minutes of play. The old record was set nearly 34 years ago (Dec. 27, 1974), when a Raider team held Ohio Northern to 13 points.
