1.  No vulgar language or profanity - This includes inappropriate words, inappropriate sexual references and other vulgar statements.  ezboard employs an automated profanity filter which attempts to catch foul language and disquise these words in various ways.   However, some visitors find new & inventive ways to swear.  Foul & inappropriate language (e.g., personal bodily functions) is removed as soon as we find it, and folks who post such language can be banned from the site.   If you run across them first, report it ASAP to the email address above and it will be investigated ASAP.

2.  No threatening, abusive or harassing comments.   Be kind to others.  Please don't forget that you are talking to living feeling human beings on these boards!  The internet can be dehumanizing and you may be tempted to say things on the board that you would never say to someone's face.

3.  No slanderous or libelous posts - Knowingly making false claims about a company, organization or an individual are prohibited.

4.  Topical posting - this is a message board about Wright State University Athletics. Discussion of topics related WSU and WSU Athletics should be the norm. Topics of a general sports nature (Reds, Dragons, high school sports, football, etc.) are welcome and are appropriate, especially for the long summer months during the basketball off-season. However, in light of the continual trend of selected posters to turn most any topic into a political debate, from this point forward, anyone that turns a thread (or starts) into a political diatribe (e.g., liberal/conservative, democrat/republican, specific laws that you don't agree with) will be banned. See item 10.

5.   While we encourage lively debate, we will not tolerate personal attacks.  Any person attacking another visitor will receive a warning and have their message removed.  Any future incident thereafter, will result in that member being removed from the forum.  Harassing, offensive, vulgar, abusive, hateful or bashing communications - including those aimed at sexual orientation, gender, race, religion, national origin, or disability will absolutely not be tolerated.

6.  Do not engage in "flame-wars" or excessive exchange of confrontational postings.  Debate is important, but users should not try to "pick a digital fight."

7.  No advertising or product marketing - No commercial ads allowed.  An advertisement is categorized as an outright attempt to solicit business. Any such posts may be removed.

8.  Linking - Links to personal or business webpages is permitted as long as the message is not a direct advertisment.   The posting of copyrighted, trademarked, or otherwise protected material is strictly prohibited.

9.  No spamming - Do not post the same message repeatedly.

10.  Forum rules and guidelines are not up for debate.  This is not a democracy, but rather a private forum.  Anyone openly debating the rules set in place will be removed.

11.  No impostors allowed.   Impersonators will not be tolerated.   Report violations ASAP.

12.  Don't give out personal information. Keep your full name, address, telephone numbers, usernames, passwords and other identifying information to yourself, for safety's sake. Don't give out other people's information either

13.  Choose a username carefully.  You may not use names that are offensive, that suggest illegal activities or that are meant to imitate other users.  Any such names will be blocked from posting on our message boards.

14.  You participate at your own risk on this message board.  You take responsibility for postings under your username and use the information provided here at your own risk.  RaiderRoundball.com takes no responsibility for the content or opinions posted here.

15.  Your IP address is logged when you use the message board.  If your messages are deemed harmful, your account, E-mail address, and IP address can be banned from entering the site again.  We reserve the right to delete any message for any or no reason whatsoever.  We reserve the right to remove your access to the forum or disable your posting ability for any or no reason whatsoever.
