The Raiders started with a 10-0 run and extended their lead to 15-2. By the half the Vikings made their way back into the game but Wright State still led 30-24.

In the second half the Raiders put their lead back up to 10 twice but were unable to hold it. They allowed Cleveland to pull to within two with the score at 43-41 with 6:31 left to play.

But a 7-0 run, sparked by a Cooper Land 3-pointer, sealed the game for the Raiders. They held the Vikings to just eight points in the final 6:30 of the game.

Both Todd Brown and Vaughn Duggins led the way with 12 points while Will Graham and Cooper Land each contributed with eight.

The win gave Wright State soul possession of second place in the Horizon League. The moved past the Vikings in the league standings with their 8-4 record. Only Butler is ahead of them with a 9-2 mark.

On Saturday Wright State will stay on the road, this time taking on Youngstown State. WSU defeated the Penguins earlier this season at the Nutter Center 66-45.
