The Lady Raiders (8-12/5-4 HL) will meet Detroit (3-17/0-3 HL) for the second time this season on Saturday. The previous meeting in Detroit was a 71-53 victory for the HL fourth place Lady Raiders. The Lady Raiders have continued to improve and their RPI has moved from the 200's up to the current 184. The outcome of this game should be the same for the Lady Raiders whose offense is spearheaded by Freshman Shey Peddy.

Peddy is #14 in the country and #1 in the HL with 3.3 steals per game and #24 in FG percentage with 55.9%. She is #4 in the HL with 15.4 points each outing, which leads the WSU scoring. The Lady Raiders currently average 58ppg and shoot 37% from beyond the arc as a team.

Senior Whitney Lewis is ranked #3 nationally in three point percentage shooting 47.3% from trey land. She is #15 in the HL shooting 12.2ppg and #9 in the HL shooting 79.2% from the line as well. Lewis also grabs 4.9 boards each outing and can be depended on as a steady strong player.

Senior Sierra Crayton with 8.5ppg and a team leading 5 rebounds per game and Freshman LaShawna Thomas with 10.7ppg and 3.3 boards help round out a team which should get a good win this week against last place Detroit.

Saturday at 1pm starts a three game home stand for the Lady Raiders. After Detroit on Saturday they will host Cleveland State on Thursday at 5:30 before the men's game.
